About the Gallery
Sho+1 was founded in 2017 as the successor project to Galerie Sho Contemporary Art. The gallery introduces works by artists of diverse generations from both Japan and abroad, with a particular focus on pop art, organizing curated exhibitions and participating in art fairs as its core activities.
The gallery is not only a place to view and acquire artworks, but also a space where visitors can encounter the stories and creative backgrounds behind the works, offering moments of discovery and inspiration. Sho+1 strives to provide an engaging environment where visitors can broaden their perspectives through encounters with art.
Furthermore, we continue to promote artists with a global vision and carry out collaborative projects with diverse figures involved in the art world. Through these initiatives, we foster multifaceted communication and pursue a style of gallery management that draws upon Sho+1’s strength—decades of knowledge and experience in the international art market.
