Announcement of a Talk Event:1 Second Angel 9 solo exhibition “SKIPPED SECOND”
The first art book publication of 1 Second Angel 9, together with the artist’s debut solo exhibition featuring new works, “SKIPPED SECOND” has been very well received thanks to your support.
We are pleased to announce that a talk event has been scheduled for the date listed below.
The event will be held in person at the gallery and will also be streamed live via Instagram Live. We will invite a guest speaker, Mr. Takaya Sakagawa, the manager who supports the artist’s practice. He will talk about the artist’s creative methods, the background behind the publication of the art book, and offer insights into the works currently on view.

◆Speakers
Takaya Sakagawa
Manager of 1 Second Angel 9
After studying fine art and aspiring to pursue a career in artistic expression, Sakagawa gained experience in the professional world before returning to the creative field.
Upon encountering 1 Second Angel 9 through social media, he developed a deep sense of resonance with the work and has since been supporting the artist as their manager.
Sho Satake
Director, Sho+1
Born in Tokyo in 1959, he attended the College of Letters and Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and later transferred to and graduated from the Department of Art at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1983. He established Galerie Sho Contemporary Art, the predecessor of Galerie Sho+1 Office in 1984, and for over 40 years since then, he has organized a bunch of exhibitions and worked extensively in the acquisition and sale of artworks by a broad spectrum of artists – spanning Japanese artists and leading international figures such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Helmut Newton. Furthermore, he has been involved in some particularly notable collaboration projects and participation in international art fairs.
