Nobuyoshi Araki’s photographs must be existed in the essence of women’s sexuality itself. They are expressed in rather simple and impulsive way as if he wants to shoot women intuitively. Araki would like to emphasize to capture fresh nudity and a rapt expression of women through sexual intercourse in opposition to the notion of beauty. The reason why I collect some of Araki’s photographs is that they belong to a different category from the example of my long time dealing with Helmut Newton’s photographs enthusiastically which explore decadence of female beauty and of Guido Argentini’s delineating superficial beauty of women’s nudity with his camera. As a matter of course there is my personal preference of women involved with my collecting particular photographs by Araki.
